I am an Ontario Certified Teacher, a 200-hour yoga instructor and also hold a 95-hour kids yoga certification.
Yoga has been an integral part of my life for over 15 years; it has helped me deal with everyday stresses and find a sense of peace, contributing to a more mindful lifestyle for myself and my family.
We live in a busy world where kids are often over-scheduled with activities and pressured to excel academically. In the many years I have spent in the classroom teaching and leading yoga and mindfulness workshops for children and teens, I have personally witnessed the positive impact of such practices: overall improvement in mood and behaviour, enhanced focus & attention, increased strength & flexibility, reduction of stress and anxiety, boost in self-confidence and better emotional resilience, to name only a few.
My mission is to equip children with precious tools and strategies to help navigate the ever-changing world we live in. I truly believe yoga and mindfulness can greatly contribute to our kids' physical and mental health; helping them stay centered and grow into resilient adults.
